- Time Magazine.

“…full of life, warmth, laughs and wisdom…”
- NY Daily News.

Nominated for the 2010 Tony Award for Best Play and selected a Burns Mantle Best Play of 2009-2010, Time Stands Still focuses on a photojournalist and a foreign correspondent trying to find happiness in a world that seems to have gone crazy.

“Mr. Margulies is gifted at creating complex characters… the range of feeling it explores is wide and deep.”
- NY Times.

Conflicts arise between an established artist and an adulatory fan who becomes a protégé, disciple, colleague and friend – and finally threatening rival.

“As usual, Margulies holds the rich ore of his material up to the light so that it sends beams in every direction…always fluid and lively, the play is thick with ideas, like a stockpot of good stew.”
- Village Voice.
