Scene Partner 2.2 is now available for download! Come get the fix for iOS 6!

Thank you for your patience!  Scene Partner 2.2 is now available.

This new version fixes several bugs (listed below) caused by changes that Apple introduced in iOS 6.  For us it was kind of like getting new scenes from the author in the middle of tech week! Thanks Apple!

Please update to the new version of Scene Partner at your earliest convenience and visit us at our new e-Script WebStore to see the latest selection of e-Scripts from Dramatists Play Service.

Bug Fixes for iOS 6

Hi- just got your Ap but can’t figure out how to upload a PDF into Scene partner. I have the new iPad and am running iOS 6. The PDF file i want to upload doesn’t appear in the search window when I search my computers files- the only option that appears is my photo stream- which obviously does no good. Any ideas?

Hi Robert, thanks for the question! You are running into a restriction that Apple puts on all of us with their iOS devices (iPhones, iPads, etc). They only allow you to browse to certain files on your device. We recommend that you move the PDF over to your desktop or laptop computer from your iPad. Once it’s there you can upload the file from a web browser. We would also recommend that you take a look at this page on our site: It will give you more info about file types. PDFs can be tricky. Sometimes there’s really text there and sometimes there is only a picture of text. If it’s just a picture of the text then you’ll end up with a blank script. Let us know if you have any other questions! Thanks.
